Special to the State-- Nov 4, 1895
Williston, Nov 2--Mrs Kennedy, wife of Capt W H Kennedy of our town, died suddenly at 9 o'clock last night. While her death was sudden, yet it, was not entirely unexpected, for she had been in failing health for some months. Mrs. Kennedy was, originally from Ridge Spring, Edgefield County.
She was a most estimable Christian lady, useful in her church and beloved by all. She leaves behind a devoted husband and five children to mourn her loss.
