In about 1786 Ann married Meshach Davis at the Davis homestead on State road 126. (Per George Davis and his family files. He was a direct descendant Meshach & Ann).
The couple had 8 children. They were:
1. Thomas, prob died young
2. Polly, b. 1791, m. 1819 in Butler Co, OH, Robt S Laremore
3. Owen, b. 1793
4. Hannah, 1795-1887, m 1813 Zachariah Davis (s/o Jas. & Keziah (Phillips) Davis
5. James L,, 1797-1856 OH, m. Sarah Jane D???, 1 son
6. Samuel, 1798-1861 OH, m. 1824 OH, Rachel Patterson
7. Margaret, b. abt 1800
8. Isaac, 1804-1856 IN, m. Martha Foster
All of the children were born in George's twp, Fayette Co, PA. It is reported that the family left Fayette County, PA for Butler Co, OH in 1811. Several of Meshach's Davis relatives also moved there at that time.
(Note on the below family links this poster has no record of Nancy or Rachel being children of Ann & Meshack. There are circumstantial items that may support the link. More checking ... )
Also another contributor indicated that a bio of Meshah's shows his wife's name was NANCY Ann Lewis not just ANN Lewis. The tombstone shows her name as ANN. This poster has not see anything to support that Nancy was her given name.
