Edna M. Herring, 82, of Tallahassee died in Tallahassee.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Culley's Meadowwood Timberlane Road Chapel (877-8191), with burial at MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Centerville Church of Christ for Missions Support, 4015 Centerville Road, Tallahassee, 32308.

A native of Homestead and longtime resident of Ocala, she had lived in Tallahassee for three years. She was a former employee of Silver Springs in Ocala, a former member of Central Church of Christ in Ocala, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Ocala. In addition, she was a member of Centerville Church of Christ and an active member of the Marion a County Extension Homemakers.

She is survived by her husband John, G. Herring of Tallahassee, a daughter, Doris M. Parramore of Tallahassee, a sister, Louise Morgan of Nederland, Texas, two granddaughters, Karen Crosby and Debra Dean, both of Tallahassee, and four great-grandchildren.
