Doris M. Parramore, 80, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at her home. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, in Culley's MeadowWood Timberlane Road Chapel with interment in Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 9:30 am Monday until the service time in the funeral home. Doris moved to Tallahassee from West Palm Beach, FL in 1960. She graduated from FSU with a Master's degree in 1977. She was a retired nursing consultant for the State of Florida, covering 14 North Florida Counties. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Parramore; two daughters, Karen P. Peebles (and husband Mike) and Debra Dean (and husband Edward); five grandchildren, Chris Crosby (wife Sarah), Stephen Crosby, Billy Powell (Wife Gaby), Kelsi Dean and Eddie Dean; two great grandchildren, Will and Connor Powell. A face from our household is gone, a voice we loved is stilled, a chair is vacant in our home which never can be filled. We love and miss you so..
