Jenett Lowe was the second wife of Robert Hughes Dowdle, married 26 April 1869 in Salt Lake, Utah. Jenett was a tender age of about 17 when she became the second wife of Robert Dowdle, she was the mother of 16 children, 11 of whom died at birth or shortly after. Five children lived, Ethelyn 'Ethel' Dowdle m. Edward Francis Kingsford, John Alvin Dowdle, m. Mary Josephine Welch, Nellie Dowdle, m. George Sylvester Chapman, Robert Hazen Dowdle, m. Lydia Bell Chapman. Rosella May Dowdle, m. Peter Kingsford.
