Thomas Allen Yerian, age 64 of Jackson, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 3, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born in Jackson on November 19, 1951 to the late Franklin James and Edith (Hill) Yerian.

Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: James Yerian, Kenneth Yerian, Betty Cantor, Vicky Skaggs, Steve Yerian, Richard Yerian and Chris Yerian; and step-father, Bob Yerian.
Tom was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the AMVETS and VFW. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, but especially loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, with military graveside services. The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
