Funeral services for Stephen Eugene Brown were Friday, July 15, at the LDS Church at 3306 White Mountain Blvd. with Bishop Lowell R. Dawson conducting the service. Interment was at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Brown, 33, of 207 Mesa Drive, Rock Springs, died instantly of injuries he sustained in a one-car roll over at 11:21 p.m. Monday, July 11, 3.8 miles south of Rock Springs on Highway 430 South.
He was born in Salt Lake City on Sept. 2, 1954, the son of Richard G. and Ruby Searle Brown. He attended schools in Germany and Centerville, Utah and was a graduate of the Viewmont High School in Centerville with the class of 1972.
Brown operated several businesses in Wyoming with national and international associates including the former owner and operator of the Rock Springs Petroleum Company and was presently the owner of the Surplus Salvage Company. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah of Rock Springs; one son, Spencer Brown of Rock Springs; his parents, Richard and Ruby Brown of Centerville; four brothers, Robert Keros Brown of Pescadero, Calif., Richard G. (Duff) Brown of Logan, Utah, Wendell E. Brown of St. George, Utah, and Tracy Brown of Centerville; two sisters, Susan Wright of Concord, Calif., and Judith Cella of Centerville and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
