Tracy was born on July 5, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard G. Brown and Ruby Searle Brown. He grew up in Centerville, Utah, and lived in Davis County the majority of his life. At the time of his death he lived and worked in Stanley, North Dakota. Tracy worked in the trucking industry, and was well-known and admired for his strong work ethic. He was a generous and kind man, who found ways to quietly serve others.
Tracy enjoyed hosting barbecues and entertaining family and friends. He grew awesome vegetable gardens, he loved watching football, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. His fun-loving charm, quick wit, and funny sayings will long be remembered by all who knew him.
He was a wonderful dad and grandpa, and his greatest joy was his children and grandchildren. Tracy had three children, Claudia Larsen, Nathan Brown (Kristeen Hand), and Sandee Tenney (Rhett), and six grandchildren, Zack and Kade Larsen; Josie, Sofia, and Samuel Tenney; and Sullivan Ruby Brown.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ruby, and his brother Stephen Eugene Brown. He is survived by his father, Richard Brown and his siblings, Keros (Genevieve), Duff (Karen), Susan Wright (Tim), Wendell (Terrie), and Judy Cella (Ron). Tracy was close to his nieces and nephews, many of whom called him their "favorite uncle."
A memorial service to honor Tracy's life will be held November 29th, 11:00 am at the LDS chapel 270 North 300 East Centerville, Utah. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Guadalupe School would be welcomed, or do what Tracy would have done, and quietly serve someone.
