She was born Dec. 11, 1894, in Algonquin, the daughter of John and Sophie Jurs, She was a member of the Riley Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Walter, Ft. Worth, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Norma) Dowdle, Carpentersville, and Mrs Edward (Melba) Cesar, Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; and a brother, Herman Jurs, Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in November of 1971, three brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Osborne-Jansen Memorial Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy. The Rev. Harry Miller, pastor of the Marengo United Methodist Church, will officiate, with burial in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
Friends may call in the funeral home after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
