Some think that he died in 1741 in Westerly, Washington, RI, but according to The Genealogical Dictionary of NE Settlers by Savage, Vol. 3, p. 57, Edward of Westerly was the son of Edward of Newport and married Mary Cottrell. The next Edward in the paragraph, as stated by Savage, is Edward, son of Edward of Charlestown, and he married Mary Walker. No date is given for his death.
