Grace Siedel Papa - Services Today - Columbus Telegraph - May 4, 1978

Funeral Services for Grace D. Siedel Papa, 76, will be conducted at two o'clock this afternoon (Thursday) from David City Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David L. Hansen officiating. Mrs. Papa died Sunday at Butler County Hospital.

Mrs. Herman Hansen vocalist, will be accompanied by Mrs. John Fadschild, organist. Pallbearers are Donald Doner, Lloyd From, Roland From, Gerald Hayhurst, John Zohner and Harold Heins. Burial will be in David City Cemetery.

Grace D. Bock, the daughter of Lawrence and Anna Beierle Bock, was born May 6, 1901 at David City.

She was married on Feb. 24 1920 to Frank W. Siedel. Four Children, Gerald F., Dorothy A., Ronald M. and Dennis L., were born to this union. Mr. Siedel preceded her in death on August 1, 1966.

On March 20, 1969, she was married to John J. Papa, who also preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1971.

Mrs. Papa was a member of Mary's Rebekah Lodge No. 18. St Luke's United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

She is survived by three children, Dorothy A. Hunsche of David City, Ronald M. of Omaha, Ronald L. of Valparaiso; two brothers, Joseph Bock of David City and Dale Bock of Auroora, Colo.; three sisters, Mabel Knott of Omaha, Gladys From of Rising City and Eloine From of David City; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Her husband's , Frank W. Siedel and John J. Papa, and one son Gerald F. Siedel, preceded her in death.
