HEART ATTACK WAS CAUSE OF DEATH OF MARION EDWARD BOCK

Marion Edward Bock passed away suddenly at the Frank Litty farm near David City Friday afternoon, Aug. 28 from a heart attack.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Knott Funeral Home with the Rev. Mearl C. Smith officiating. Music was by Morris C. Stephens, who sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again". He was accompanied by Mrs. Enid Soukup.

Pallbearers were: Norval Hoeft, Edwin Hunsche, Frank Kindler, Bernard and Donald Knott and William Olivas. Burial was in the David City Cemetery.

Marion Edward Bock was born on a farm near Rising City, April 12, 1903. He was the son of Lawrence and Anna Beierle Bock. His early life was spent on the farm. Later he moved to David City and was employed by the Lincoln Telephone company. He was a member of the David City Volunteer Fire Department for a number of years. The last years of his life he was engaged in commercial trucking.

For 18 years, he and his mother lived at his home in David City.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Anna Bock of David City; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Knott of Omaha, Mrs. Gladys From of Surprise; Mrs. Eloine From and Mrs. Grace Siedel, both of David City; two brothers, Joseph and Dale Bock, both of David City; 22 nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
