He is survived by his wife of more than 58 years; one son R. Lee Royer, three brothers Ralph Royer and Samuel Royer both of Waynesboro, and James Royer of Paramount, MD.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Janet White, Hazel Keough, Mildred Spangler and Catherine Gardenhour; and four brothers, John Royer, Paul Royer, Donald Royer and Richard Royer.
