Cookeville - Funeral services for minnie Lou Allison Lowe, 87, of Cookeville will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lowe died on Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 3, 1918, in Putnam County to the late Arthur and Maggie Cole Allison.
Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker and a member of Cookeville First Baptist Church. She was also a member of Senior Citizens, Happy Travelers, Senior Citizens Gospel Singers and Ruth Gleaners'Sunday School class.
Her Family includes two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy and Fowler Low of Brentwood, and Rita Grissom of Cookeville; a brother, Travis Allison of Prescott, Ariz,; four grandchildren, Jay and Matt Grissom, Amy Gore and Chris Godsey; four great-grandchildren, Jay and Matt Grissom, Amy Gore and Chris Godsey; four great-grandchildren, Ethan and Kason Grissom, Will and Drew Gore; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Julius, Carmel and Arnold Allison; and three sisters, Ruby Maynard, Jenny Burks and Meda Boyd.
Pallbears will be Jay, Matt and Ethan Grissom, Chris Godsey, David Gore and Fowler Low.
Special Pallbearers will be Senior Citizens Gospel Group Singers and Ruth Gleaners'Sunday School Class.
Dr. Randy adkinson and Bro. Charlie Hutchinson will officiate at the services.
