Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Newell Allison, 84, will be held in the Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Ernest Abston, Abe Martin Jr. and Rev. Fred Hawkins officiating.
Mrs. Allison died yesterday in the Cookeville General Hospital following a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Martha Bullington Cole, the widow of the late Arthur Lee Allison.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Lowe, Cookeville, Mrs. Meda Boyd, Warren, MI, two sons, Arnold and Travis Allison of Baxter; two brothers, Sterline Cole, MO, Jim Cole, Nashville, one sister, Mrs. Florence Brown, Natchez, MS, 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Smellage Cemetery in Putnam County, TN.
