Eugene Earl Grable, 72, St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at a St. Joseph health-care center.
Mr. Grable was a truck driver and formerly worked for Crouch Brothers and Yellow Freight Line. Born in Faucett, Mo., on March 10, 1932, and lived most of his life in St. Joseph. He was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Elizabeth Grable.
Survivors: sons, Doug and Mike Grable, St. Joseph; and Terry Grable and his wife, Becky, Holts Summit, Mo.; daughter, Peggy Stubbs, and her husband, Jason, St. Joseph; sister, Jo Ann Schultz, Troy, Kan.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Grable will be cremated under the direction of Rupp Funeral Home, St. Joseph. A private family inurnment will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Agency Cemetery, Agency, Mo. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
