Jo Ann (Grable) Schultz, 83, of Troy, Kansas went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care of St. Joseph, Missouri.

Jo Ann was born on March 1, 1933 in Faucett, Missouri to Steve & Lizzie (Stanton) Grable.

She was a member of the Troy Garden Club, Zion United Evangelical Church & Women’s Fellowship, where she held various offices. She also enjoyed attending the First Baptist Church of Troy, where she was a member of Roy & Linda Roper’s Sunday School Class.

Jo Ann was a cook for the Wathena Schools & enjoyed attending Bible Study, where they cooked for the homeless at the Food Kitchen.

Jo Ann married William “Bill” Schultz on June 3, 1950 in Wathena. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Eugene Grable, granddaughter, Heather Steeby, 2 great-grandchildren & a step-grandson, Mike Steeby.

Survivors: her children, Steve Schultz (Linda), Troy, Kansas;
Ellen Steeby (George) of St. Joseph, Missouri;
Randy Schultz of Wathena, Kansas;
Chris Schultz (Kim), Burr Oak Bottom, Wathena, Kansas;
16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-great-grandchildren & numerous nieces & nephews;
Sister-in-law, Stella Goin, Wathena, Kansas.

Private family funeral service.

Visitation: 5-8 Monday evening at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas, where friends may call after 12 noon Monday.
Burial: Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas
