The death of Mrs. Mary Margaret Wait, 81, former resident, occurred Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Bessie Wait, West Union, Ill.
The body was brought to the Scott funeral home in Chrisman where services will be at one o'clock Thursday afternoon with Rev. Lawrence Beebe officiating. Burial will be at Hoult cemetery, south of Chrisman.
Mrs. Wait was born in Crawford county on November 20, 1862, a daughter of John and Susan Smith Cornwell. Greater part of her life was spent in Clark and Crawford counties. She was a resident of Chrisman for 20 years and it was while living here in 1937 that her huband, George Wait, passed away.
