Bobbie Lewis Herin Sr., 70, died Tuesday in his home in Tecumseh. He was born March 7, 1931 in Clebit, Oklahoma to Ewing L. and Corra Belle Turner Herin.

Mr. Herin married Pearl Alexander of Tecumseh on February 19, 1952 in Borger, Texas.

He worked in the Borger area in the oil field and the Shawnee area as a truck driver for Stephen Oil. He served with the airborne troops at Fort Benning, Georgia and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish. Football was his favorite sport.

Mr. Herin was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, two sisters and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include his wife Pearl, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobbie L. Herin Jr. and Stephen Herin of Shawnee and Franklin and Beverly Herin of Tecumseh, four daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon K. and Jim Mills of Shawnee, Barbara A. and Michael Smith, Bonnie K. and Donald Griffin and Patricia L. Herin, all of Tecumseh, two sisters, Sue Smith of Borger and Linda Bailey of Kingston, Oklahoma, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Lee Herin and and Jerry D. Herin, all of Fritch, Texas, Vernon (Lloyd) Herin of Caddo Gap, Arkansas and Donnie and Marcella Herin, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glen Pence officiating. Burial will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
