EWING LEWIS HERIN Funeral services for Ewing Lewis Herin, 69, of Fritch, will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Assembly of God Church of Fritch with the Rev. P. M. Middaugh, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Powell Cemetery in Powell, Okla. under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Herin died at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday at North Plains Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1902 in Velasco and had been a resident of Fritch for the past 30 years. He was a retired employe(sic) of Phillips Petroleum Company.
Survivors include his wife, Cora of the home; six sons, Kenneth and Jerry of Fritch, Loyd and Donnie of Ft. Carson, Colo., Bobby of Shawnee, Okla. and Jimmy of Denver, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Smith, Mrs. Linda Bailey and Mrs. Billy Stroup, all of Fritch, Mrs. Maurice McCarley of Pinetop, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Bill Johnson of Broken Bow, Okla.; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Casketbearers will be Billy Stroup, Corky McCarley, Robert Smith, Mac Robertson, Herbert Alexander, T. A. Compton.
