Pearl J Herin, 85, of Tecumseh, died Tuesday, April 21, at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Pearl, the daughter of Ivan Sr., and Martha (Perkins) Alexander, was born May 25, 1934, in Tecumseh. On February 19, 1952, she married Bobbie Herin Sr. in Borger, Texas. Pearl was a waitress at Kelley’s Sandwich Shop in Shawnee for many years. She loved to camp and fish at lakes around Oklahoma; she was an amazing cook; she enjoyed bowling; but more than anything Pearl loved children and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Bonnie and Barbara; four sisters, Maude, Annie, Marie, and Mary; six brothers, Sonny, Herbert, Bob, James, Calvin and Ivan Jr.

Pearl is survived by three sons, Bobbie Herin Jr., Franklin and Beverly Herin, Stephen Herin; two daughters, Sharon and Jim Mills and Patricia Herin; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence “Butch” and Debbie Alexander; a sister, Minnie Jameson; and many other family and friends.

There will be a private graveside service Friday, at 2:00 PM, at Tecumseh Cemetery, with Ruby Nell Davis York officiating. Walker Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
