Abstract--age 62, of Beal St., Cumberland, died on the way to the hospital yesterday. He was the s/o the late Jacob G. and Matilda Fox Sterne. He had been employed with the railroad for 44 years, serving on the Pittsburg, Cumberland and Monongah divisions prior to retiring here in November due to ill health. Besides his widow, Mrs. Daisy (Ayersman) Sterne, he is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Edgar T. Duke, LaVale, Mrs. Carl H. Wagner of this city, and Mrs. Walter R. Yeary, Raleigh, N. C.; four sons, Adam E., O. Otis, Jr. and Ronald N. Sterne, all of this city, and W. Carl Sterne of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Hayward Sterne, Morgantown, W.Va.; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Stull, Middlebourne, W.Va. Burial was in the Hillcrest Burial Park.
