Age 44, passed away Saturday afternoon. Mr. Baker was born January 3, 1921, in Augusta, the son of Clyde and Gladys Ritter Baker. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre. Mr. Baker is survived by one son and three daughters; one brother, William, of Rte. 1, Hickory Corners; one sister, Mrs. Lester (Elizabeth) Hawks of Rte. 4, Battle Creek; his step-mother, Mrs. Sadie Baker of Rte. 1, Hickory Corners. Friends may call at the Schlueter Funeral Home, Augusta, where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., Chaplain Elton Holtrop officiating. Military services by Veterans Administration Honor Guard. Interment in the Augusta Cemetery.
