Age 70, passed away Thursday evening at Borgess Hospital. Mr. Baker was born July 28, 1893, the son of William and Minnie Simpson Baker and was a life resident of this area. He was a member of F.O.E. No. 526 of Kalamazoo. On Dec. 25, 1920, he was married to Sadie M. King, in Michigan City, who survives. Surviving besides the wife are: 2 sons, William F. Baker home address and Lawrence R. Baker, Kalamazoo; one daughter, Mrs. Lester (Elizabeth) Hawkes of Battle Creek; 28 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Schlueter Funeral Home, Augusta, where services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., F.O.E. No. 526, Kalamazoo, officiating. Interment in Ross Center Cemetery.
