OBITUARY
WILLIAM B. BROOKS
William B. Brooks, 82, of 607 W. Grand Ave., died at 8:30 a.m. today at his residence. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Roan Hill Baptist Church. He was a native of Greene County, but had lived in Johnson City for the past several years.
Survivors include the window, Mrs. Frances Arrowood Brooks of Rt. 4, Greeneville; five daughters, Mrs. Andrew Lamb of Rt. 1, Chuckey, Mrs. C.C. Huff and Evelyn Brooks of Johnson City, Mrs. Frank Carter of Greeneville, and Mrs. Jack Jeffers of Limestone; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Kiser Funeral Home is in charge.

According to his death certificate, he died in Johnson City, Washington County, TN at age 82. He was retired from farming. He was born in Sullivan County, TN., to John and Sarah Brooks. William died of Cerebral Hemorrhage due to Cardio Vascular Disease.
