Samuel Clark, 77, 903 Oak Street, died yesterday at midnoon. For about 40 years he pursued the vocation of a farmer, four miles southeast of Niles and for 12 years he had resided in this city. At one time he conducted a second hand store here. He leaves a wife and the following children: Samuel, Jr., Cleveland, O.; Mrs. O. P. Woodworth, Macomb, Ill.; Clarence and Frank of South Bend, Harry of Blue Island, Ill.; John, of Dowagiac, Mrs. Chas. Miller of Benton Harbor, Miss Isaac Margerson of Union City, Mich.; Mrs. Chas. Smith of Granger, Ind., and Marie Clark at home. There are also two brothers and one sister. Funeral will be held from the house Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Wright to officiate. Interment at Silver Brook cemetery.
