John T. Arms,76, Tecumseh, died Tuesday afternoon in a Shawnee hospital following a one year illness.
Services will be at 3p.m. Friday uncooperative Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. W.H. Coppinger, pastor of Full Gospel Church in Tecumseh, officiating.
Mr. Arms was born Dec 23, 1906 in Clay County,Tennessee. While still a child, he moved to a farm in Brown Community, west of Tecumseh. He lived in Tecumseh since 1938 and worked as an exterminator.
Mr. Arms was preceded in death by three sons Jerry Louis Arms, Johnny Arms Jr. and James M. Arms.
Survivors include one daughter Margaret Hill Thomas, Tecumseh; fours sons DonaldL.Arms, Rt. 1, Tecumseh, Rondy D. Arms, Shawnee, Curtis Ray Arms, Tecumseh, and Alvin E. Arms, Tecumseh; one sister Sallie Johnson, Oklahoma City; one brother, Ezra Arms, Tecumseh; 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
