Margaret Siebring Obituary

Margaret Jean Hill-Siebring, age 91, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Margaret was born July 24, 1932 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to John and Oma Ann Watson Arms.

Margaret was raised in Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh high school in 1951. She graduated in 1967 from nursing school in Shawnee as an L.P.N.

She married Edgar W. Hill September15, 1951 in Tecumseh. After Edgars passing in 1971, she married Merle Siebring and celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Margaret worked for Mission Hill hospital as an ER nurse for 4 years. She then worked for Dr. Norman Hanks at his office, and then worked for Sunset Estates Nursing Center. She cared for many residents throughout her 33 years of service and retired in 2009.

She loved to work in her yard as well as her neighbors' yards. She was well respected in her neighborhood and was fondly known as "Ms. Margaret". She loved canning green beans and beets, and making chicken noodles, that she would share with others. She was a longtime member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Tecumseh.

She was preceded in death by; her parents, her husbands; Edgar W. Hill, and Merle Siebring, her son; Jimmy Hill, her siblings; James Arms, John Arms Jr., Jerry Lewis Arms, Donald Arms, and Curtis Arms.

Margaret is survived by her two daughters; Debbie Bailey of Tecumseh, and Paula Dibler and Wayne of Shawnee, her grandsons; Anthony Crabb, Chad Dibler and Kim, and Jason Dibler and Keela, her great grandchildren; Cameron Comer, Deacon Crabb, Gavin Dibler and Julia, Jayden Dibler, Jekhi Dibler, Dayton Dibler, and Kenzie Dibler, her brother; Alvin Arms and Ruth, Rondy Arms and Linda, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. 

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home.  Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Sharon Baptist Church with Jason Dibler and Reverend Clint Dawkins, officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
