He was raised in Tecumseh and he attended school through the 11th grade. He worked in maintenance at Tinker, as well as working in the oil field.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers: Johnny Arms, Jr, Jerry Lewis Arms, Don Arms and James Arms. Survivors include a sister: Margaret Hill Siebring of Tecumseh; brother-in-law,Merle Siebring of Tecumseh; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rondy and Linda Arms of Shawnee and Alvin and Ruth Arms of Tecumseh; and several nieces and nephews.
