Both are living with the John Fitzpatrick family on 1860 Maury Co census along with their stepmother Nancy Fitzpatrick Killingsworth, a sister of Margaret.
Court documents filed Sep 7, 1874, by George Killingsworth and Ruth Duger contests the will of John Fitzpatrick stating that "their mother Peggy Fitzpatrick, who intermarried with John Kilingsworth was the daughter of the said John Fitzpatrick deceased, and that their mother, the said Peggy, is now dead and was dead at the time of the death of the said John Fitzpatrick." NOTE: In this document the mother is referred to as Peggy not Margaret; thus the addition of the name.
