Betty Schock
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Powell LDS Church for Betty Schock, 68, who died Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Powell Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1931, at Byron, daughter of Adam and Vida Dorthy (Madsen) Pryde. She was educated in the Byron schools. After graduation from Byron High School, she married Bill Schock in Billings, Mont., on July 14, 1959.
She was a member of the LDS Church. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Schock of Powell; a son, Mark Schock and his wife Pam of Powell; two daughters, Sandy Kelly and her husband Ray of Powell and Karen Nemitz and her husband Bob of Powell; four brothers, Wayne, Thomas, Richard and Ed Pryde; two sisters Dorothy Braug and husband Fred and Mary Corbridge and husband Dave; and four grandchildren, Bill, Nikole, Chase and Lexie.
Burial will be in the Byron Cemetery following services. A luncheon will be served at the Powell Elks Lodge at approximately 1 p.m. Friday.
