Ed joined the Army in 1951 during the Korean War, but after a few months of serving was given a medical discharge.
He worked for Clarence Mangus, driving truck for many years. He also worked around Lovell and Byron doing farm work. For a time, he worked in Cody at Husky Oil.
Ed was married in 1974 to Harriet Heny and they resided in Powell and Cody.
Ed leaves to mourn his death a daughter, Pamela Pryde of Denver, Colorado; one grandchild and 7 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Jean Corbridge and Dorothy Braug of Denver, Colorado.
