Edward Pryde, son of Vida and Adam Pryde, passed away at the Billings Clinic on January 17, 2013 after having two heart attacks. Ed was born in Byron, Wyoming on February 23, 1925. He lived most of his life in the Big Horn Basin.

Ed joined the Army in 1951 during the Korean War, but after a few months of serving was given a medical discharge.

He worked for Clarence Mangus, driving truck for many years. He also worked around Lovell and Byron doing farm work. For a time, he worked in Cody at Husky Oil.

Ed was married in 1974 to Harriet Heny and they resided in Powell and Cody.

Ed leaves to mourn his death a daughter, Pamela Pryde of Denver, Colorado; one grandchild and 7 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Jean Corbridge and Dorothy Braug of Denver, Colorado.
