Thomas Sterling Lynch, 84, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Beverly Heath Care.

Mr. Lynch was employed in uranium mining in Colorado in earlier years, and later as a truck driver with Alcoa International in Powell, Wyoming.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas Stanley Lynch, State of California; and John W. Lynch and Adam P. Lynch, both of Jefferson City; four daughters, Martha M. Sapp, Mountain Grove, MO; Mary Jean Cline, Pontiac, MO; Mildred M. Archer, Jefferson City; and Betty June Lynch, Newton, IA; twenty-six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Wayne Pride, Lovell, WY; and a half-sister, Mary Carbridge, Billings, MT.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating.

Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Cemetery.

NOTE: His Social Security Application and other records show his birth place as "Gebo, Wyoming." I looked up Gebo, Wyoming and found that is is defined as a ghost town in Hot Springs County, Wyoming.
