Clifford B. Stiverson, 82, of Monticello died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996 at Kirby Hospital, Monticello. Visitation will be Jan 1, 1997 at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home; graveside services will be Jan 2, 1997 in Monticello Cemetery.
He was born May 22, 1914 in Monticello, the s/o Ora & Lena Blacker Stiverson. He married Myrtle R. Helmke on May 25,1947. She survives along with three sons: Jerry and Jack of Monticello; and Wesley of Danville; one brother, Richard of Monticello; and a sister, Betty Wright, Lewisville TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Stiverson was a member of Carpenters Local 44 of Champaign for 54 years. He was also a WWII army veteran.
