CORPORAL(12-01-1829-01-14-1903; BRUSH CREEK CEMETERY,
FRANKLIN CO, MISSOURI).
Levi Branson Lewis is the same as L. B. Lewis. He served both in CO A, 9th Battalion (Home Guard) and the 75th Reg., 18th Brigade (Militia). Levi was a corporal in the Militia and a 2nd lieutenant in the Home Guard. The s. of Asa and Elizabeth Shinn Lewis, Levi m. Temperance Mary Ann Windsor (b. 05-20-1839, d. 02-10-1900), dau. of Bennett and Sarah A. Holeman Windsor, on 10/02/1856 (YCMR). After the war, this family moved by covered wagon to Missouri in 1869 (per Niemeyer).
