Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Sikes Baptist Church with the Rev. W. O. Byrd of New Orleans officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Survivors are two sons, C. R. and C. V. Crain of Shreveport; six daughters, Mrs. C. F. Puckett of Pineville, Mrs. Roy Gaar of Dodson, Mrs. E. C. Monroe of West Monroe, Mrs. Ralph Talbot of Monroe, Mrs. Herschell Kidd of Minden, and Mrs. O. W. Byrd of New Orleans; a brother, W. S. Emmons of Sikes; 28 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
