W. B. BELL FUNERAL HELD ON FRIDAY
Last Rites for Aged Settler Held At Self

Funeral services for W. B. Bell, 80, who died at his home in Self, Texas, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Self Church of Christ. The Rev. Stovall and Rev. T. M. Broadfoot conducted the services. Burial was at the Honey Grove cemetery.

Mr. Bell was born at Savoy, Texas, August 8, 1854, the son of Stephen and Mary Baggett Bell, and spent his entire life in Fannin county.

He was married to Miss Holley Adkins in 1875.

For the past 25 years he had been a merchant at Self.

Surviving him are six sons T. H. Bell, O. C. Bell and L. H. Bell of Honey Grove, E. H. Bell of Anton, Texas, E. M. Bell of Kansas City, and Fred Bell of Brookston; three daughters, Mrs. W. F. Whittenburg of Self, Mrs. J. C. Pirtle of Direct and Mrs. Alva Brown of Honey Grove.

A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Six of the grandsons acted as pallbearers.
