Eva Cole - ELIZABETHTON
Eva Pearl Bare Cole, 91, Elizabethton, passed away Monday December 15, 2008, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Mays Crowe. Mrs. Cole had worked at the Dutch Maid Drive-In and Rainbo Restaurant for several years. She retired from Magnavox Company, Johnson City. She was a member of the Elizabethton Senior Citizens. Mrs. Cole was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Barney Bare and Soloman Cole; a great grandson, Collin Bare; seven brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include Two Daughters: Rose Marie Graves, Elizabethton, and Charlotte Sue Gagnon and her husband, Charles, LaPlata, Md.; Two Sons: Harold Bare and his wife, Beverly, and Bob Bare, all of Elizabethton; Ten Grandchildren; Bart Graves, Ann Lund, Kathy Matthews, Chet Gagnon, Scott Gagnon, Christy Gagnon, Allison Bare, Staci Bare, Barney Bare and Amy Bare Vickrey; 10 Great Grandchildren; A Sister: Beatrice Campbell, Elizabethton; Two Brothers: Hoover Crowe and J.G. Crowe, both of Elizabethton; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eric Heaton officiating. Entombment Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Active Pallbearers will be: Bart Graves, Staci Bare, Barney Bare, Scott Gagnon, Chet Gagnon and Jerry Nave. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Doug Nave, Keith Webb and Jeff Vickrey. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Dr. Vivian Clark.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday to go to the cemetery.
