Seaborn Konce and his wife, Martha Outlaw Halstead (married 1845 in Wilkinson Co, GA-daughter of Cynthia Hall and James Outlaw), came to Schley County from Alabama in late 1859 or 1860 and had 14 children. Seaborn Konce and Martha Outlaw Halstead settled in the Lowe Community of Schley Co., where he farmed and also served as a rural mail carrier on Route #21786. He served during the duration of the Confederate War and died at the age of 77.

S. K. Halstead has a CSA pension application in the GA Archives. He says he enlisted in July 1862 and served as a SGT. with Co. G of the 59th Infantry. He was paroled at Appomattox Courthouse, VA. See GA Pension Record # 187807-00997 and Confederate Graves Registry ID # 136767 for this cemetery also.
