Zola (Colgan-Aicher) Oesterreicher, a former longtime Iowa City resident, died Saturday evening in Fullerton, California.
Mrs. Oesterreicher was born Aug. 10, 1895, in Gilmore City, to Frank Colgan and Anna Colgan. She was married to Harry Aicher and lived in the Iowa City area until after his death in 1952.
In 1957 she was married to Alfred Oesterreicher and since that time has lived in Titonka.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. James H. Quinn of Iowa City and Mrs. Wayne Hopp of Solon; three sons, Harry Aicher, Jr. and Richard Aicher, both of rural Iowa City, and Maj. Thomas Aicher who is serving in the Air Force in Germany; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William and John.
