SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. LAPINGTON
Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Lapinton, 84, Grand Saline were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Bartley Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Dailey and Roy T. Whitworth officiating. Graveside services and burial were at 1 p.m. Monday at Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas.
Mrs. Lapington died Friday (Oct. 15th) at a Grand Saline hospital. She was a retired clothing company employee and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a Van Zandt County native and was a former resident of Dallas.
Survivors include two sons, Irby Lapington of Henderson, Ky. and Price Lapington of Grand Saline; a brother, Homer Chaney of Marshall; a sister, Mrs. Mary Bateman of Myrtle Springs; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
