Albert O. Wagner, 63, died Wednesday morning, September 18, 1963, at the Thurston Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, at Sheets & Dahn Funeral Home in Tipton, with Rev. James Elvig officiating. Burial will be in the Red Oak Cemetery, rural Tipton, Iowa.

Albert Oliver Wagner was born September 26, 1899, in Lisbon, the son of Wesley William and Margaret (Gaines) Wagner. He married Dorothy Herron on October 2, 1929, in Guthrie Center. Together they farmed in the Coon Rapids area, until they moved to Stanwood in 1955.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Richard A. Wagner of Olin and Leland E. Wagner of Onslow; three daughters, Leora (Richard) Tenley and Norma Jean (Richard) Luckstead, both of Olin and Violet (Larry) Brinkman of Tipton; 14 grandchildren; four sisters, Leona Thurston, Grace Thurston, Verna Winekauf and Eunice Wiskus, all of Tipton; and two brothers, Floyd W. Wagner of Coon Rapids and Ernest L. Wagner of Tipton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
