Pioneer Family.
Thomas Curry came from Kentucky in 1837, and with a brother, settled in Clayton township. He raised a family of twelve children, the living descendants now numbering 201. One daughter, Mrs. Ellen Seaton of Camp Point, who was born in 1839, is the only one living of the twelve children.
Thomas Curry lived to be nearly ninety. His eldest son, Benjamin, died in Clayton when over ninety. Richard, of Camp Point, almost reached ninety years, dying a year or so ago.
