Services Held for Former Resident

Mrs. Lou Belle Wolverton, 35, Lance Creek, died at a hospital in Lusk Sunday, March 27, following a long illness from cancer. Funeral services were held in Lusk. Wednesday and the body was brought to the Haskell Funeral home Thursday.

A graveside service was held at the Byron cemetery Thursday afternoon, Bishop Walter Stevens conducting.

Mrs. Wolverton, a former Lovell and Byron resident, was born Feb. 14, 1905 in Lovell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ames. She is survived by her husband, Edwin A. Wolverton of Lance Creek; a son, Thomas A. Wolverton of Brush, Colo., and a daughter, Mrs. Dennis McKibben of Craig, Colo., and four grandchildren.
