GEORGE W. ALLISON
Died July 6, 1924 at his home in Ohio Twp., Bartholomew Co., at age 68. He was born in Franklin, Ind., son of George W. & Rachel Allison, deceased. He moved with his family to Columbus as a mere lad. In 1870 he came with his parents to Nashville. At age 21 he married Emma Quick. He moved back to Barth. Co. 23 years ago where he was a fruit grower.
Surv. are his wife, two sons, Homer & Clarence Allison, both at home, a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Taggart of Brownsville, Texas. also surv. are three sisters, Alice Fowler, Nellie Gaston and Rachel Watts, all of Indpls. and Alonzo Allison of Nashville who is the owner & editor of the Brown County Democrat.
Burial was in the Ohio Ridge Cemetery, Barth. Co.
