Nellie was the daughter of George Allison and Rachel Rogers. She married twice:
1. William McKinley Kennedy, Dec. 16, 1888, Brown Co., Indiana
Kennedy was previously married to Mary J. Campbell, three children, divorced in Brown Co. in 1888. He and Nellie also had three children, Opal, Ruth, and a son who died in infancy. Nellie and William divorced in 1900. He died Dec. 28, 1907, at Seattle (King Co.) Washington.
2. James T. Gaston, July 29, 1902, Bartholomew Co., Indiana
They had three sons: James, Harry, and Harley Gaston. James Gaston had two other children, May and Richard, by his first marriage.
