R.D. Anderson, 89, passed away January 17, 2002 at his home in Koosharem, Utah, with family at his side. He was born Sept. 21, 1912 in Koosharem to Andrew and Emma Mortensen Anderson. He married, Reine Gleave of Antimony on July 29, 1935 in Richfield, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded him in death February 16, 1993.
He is survived children: Lora (Jack) Burr, Robert "Bob" Anderson, Jack Anderson all of Koosharem; Judy (Larry) Peterson of Centerville; Rae (Diane) Anderson of Boise, ID; Jolene (Chris) Fullmer of Circleville; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grand-children. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Landon "Lanny" Anderson; grandson, Brian Anderson; brothers, Rodney, LeGrande and LaRell Anderson; sisters, Leila and Vione Anderson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2002 at 12 Noon in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, 50 South 100 West in Richfield, Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Koosharem on Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery.
