Alvia Joseph Jungman, 56, passed away at his home in Abilene, Texas, Saturday, March 29, 1980. Mr. Jungman was born in Frio County, Texas, December 23, 1923.

Mr. Jungman was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Earl Jungman, his father, Edwin M. Jungman, and his sister, Lucille Jungman Rihn. He is survived by daughters Mrs. Diana Hillard of Comanche, Texas, and Mrs. Theresa Nelson of Harmon, Illinois; by his mother, Helen Schneider Jungman of Castroville, Texas; by brothers, Claude Jungman of Premont, Texas, and Walter Jungman of Devine, Texas.

Mr. Jungman was raised in the Devine and Pearsall areas, and was affectionately known as "Frog" or "Boomer" to the friends he grew up with there. During recent years, he thrived as he worked and lived with his family in the Abilene area.

Rosary was recited Monday, March 31, at 8:30 p.m., in the Elliott-Harlin Funeral Chapel in Abilene. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 1, 1980, at 3:00 p.m., in St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, Abilene, Texas. Interment was in Abilene Cemetery.
