Funeral services for Mrs. Earl (Connie) Fields Sr. of the Medical Plaza Nursing Home were held Wednesday, 21 Aug 1985, at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. O.D. Robertson officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
She was born 5 Jan 1896, in Rains County, a daughter of Johnny and Rosa Pennson Kerr.
She married Earl Fields, Sr. in June of 1920 in Point, Texas. He preceded her in death on 2 Jan 1967.
She was a member of the Bonham Street Church of God.
Survivors include five sons, Earl Fields of Paris, Beauron Fields of Paris, Cecil Fields of Tulsa, Okla., Rayford Fields of Rowlett and Charles Fields of Seagoville; two daughters, Mildred Winn of Paris and Oletha Welsh of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Alice Hall of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
