MRS JOHN C FOWLER CLAIMED
Last Rites Friday Near Linton, Conducted by Rev. Maddox
Funeral services were condcuted Friday afternoon at 12:30 for Mrs. Goldie
Mae Allen Fowler at the home of her father, Noble Allen, near Bird's Creek
on the south road, with Rev. J. H. Maddox, pastor of the Second Baptist
church Hopkinsville, officiating.
Death came to Mrs. Fowler June 19 at Jennie Stuart hospital where she was taken for treatment. She had been quite ill for over a week.
Deceased was the daughter of Noble and Nellie Cook Allen, having been born to them September 15, 1924 in Trigg county. She spent her entire life here.
Approximately two years ago she was united in marriage to John C. Fowler.
To them one child was born, a baby of about three weeks old.
In addition to the husband and baby daughter, Mrs. Fowler is survived by her parents, four brothers, Corbett, Kelly, Gertie and Armond Allen and one sister Jean Allen.
The burial was made in the family graveyard near Linton with Mitchell and Campbell in charge.
